The Rain Bird 16A‑FDV is a compact, thermoplastic automatic drain valve designed to protect irrigation systems from freeze damage by automatically draining water when system pressure falls below a specific threshold. Its filtered inlet prevents debris from entering the pipeline, eliminating the need for gravel drains. Ideal for residential and light commercial outdoor installations.

• Automatic draining when system pressure drops below approximately 0.2 bar (vertical installation)
• Closes when pressure rises back above approximately 0.4 bar
