The PLASSON 0701H compression coupler joins compatible Irish heavy-gauge pipe. The range also includes two metric-to-heavy-gauge transition sizes, allowing a metric pipe end to connect to the stated Irish heavy-gauge size.

Size selection

Choose by both the pipe standard and nominal size. Irish heavy-gauge, Irish normal-gauge and current metric pipe are not interchangeable simply because their nominal sizes appear similar.

Installation

Depressurise and drain the system. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs and dirt, and keep the sealing components clean. Insert each pipe fully and tighten the compression nuts evenly. Pressure-test the completed joint before returning it to service.
