PLASSON push-fit 90° elbow

This equal-size elbow joins PE or MDPE water pipe through a 90-degree change of direction. Its push-fit design makes it useful for new installations, repairs and alterations where a quick, secure connection is required without dismantling the fitting.

Materials

• Body and nut: polypropylene copolymer
• Split ring: polyacetal
• Seal: NBR rubber

Choosing the correct size

Select the fitting by the outside diameter of the pipe. Both ends are the same size. Check the pipe material, diameter and required pressure rating before ordering, and use the appropriate liner for the pipe being connected.

Installation

1. Cut the pipe square and remove dirt or damage from the end.
2. Fit the correct pipe liner.
3. Mark the required insertion depth on the pipe.
4. Push the pipe through the seal until it reaches the internal stop and the insertion mark aligns with the fitting.

Follow the current PLASSON fitting instructions and applicable water-installation requirements. Do not pressure-test the system until every joint has been checked for full insertion.
