Plain PVC metric to imperial socket adaptor
This PVC-U adaptor joins compatible metric and imperial solvent-weld pipework. Available sizes are 1½ in x 50 mm and 2 in x 63 mm.
Selection and installation
- Select the variant that matches both sides of the joint.
- Metric and imperial PVC pipe use different outside-diameter systems and are not directly interchangeable.
- Prepare and bond each plain socket using cleaner and solvent cement suitable for the pipework and service.
