Genuine Rain Bird 24 V AC replacement solenoid

Rain Bird RPKSOLENOI, part 20858801, is a replacement AC solenoid for compatible residential and light-commercial irrigation valves. It replaces a failed coil without replacing the complete valve body.

Compatibility

• Rain Bird DV and DVF Series valves.
• Rain Bird JTV Series valves.
• Rain Bird 075-DAS, 100-DAS, 075-ASVF and 100-ASVF valves.

Electrical specification

• Supply: 24 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
• Inrush current: 0.30 A (7.2 VA).
• Holding current: 0.19 A (4.6 VA).
• Coil resistance: 38 ohms.

Important: This is an AC solenoid. It is not a 9 V DC latching coil for battery controllers. Isolate the controller supply and water pressure before replacement, then make the cable joint with connectors suitable for the valve-box environment.
