Close off a female BSPT threaded connection in water, irrigation or pipework installations.
The Hansen Hex Screw Plug has a male BSPT thread and is used to seal the end of a compatible female-threaded fitting, valve or outlet. Its hex head provides a firm grip during fitting and removal.
Choose the correct size
Select the BSPT size that matches the female thread being plugged. This is a male-threaded plug; it does not connect directly to plain pipe.

Installation guidance
- Confirm the thread type, gender and size before fitting.
- Use a suitable thread sealing paste or tape on threaded joints.
- Do not overtighten: hand-tighten, then tighten a further one to two turns only.
- Do not install below driveways, paths or foundations.
Not suitable for swimming-pool or spa water with high chlorine concentrations.
