Hansen Female Threaded Union – BSPT

Create a removable straight connection between two male BSPT threaded components.

The Hansen Female Threaded Union has a female BSPT thread at each end with a central union nut. It allows connected pipework, valves or equipment to be disconnected for servicing without turning the entire run.

Choose the correct size

Select the BSPT size that matches both male-threaded components. This is a female-to-female threaded union and does not connect directly to plain pipe.

• Suitable for cold-water systems up to 60°C.

Installation guidance

• Check the required BSPT thread size and connection gender before fitting.
• Use a suitable thread sealant on threaded connections.
• Do not overtighten: hand-tighten, then tighten a further one to two turns only.
• Support connected pipework and do not install beneath driveways, paths or foundations.

Not suitable for swimming-pool or spa water with high chlorine concentrations.
