The Socla 895 is a compact, spring-assisted dual-plate non-return valve for preventing reverse flow in pumping, water-distribution and general industrial systems. It mounts between flanges rather than using threaded ends.

Construction and duty

PN10/16 wafer connection
Maximum water working pressure: 16 bar
Operating temperature: -10°C to 100°C
Epoxy-coated EN-GJL-250 cast-iron body for DN50 to DN100 listed sizes
AISI 304 stainless-steel plates, AISI 316 stainless-steel spring and EPDM seal
Suitable for horizontal flow and vertical ascending or descending flow, subject to the installation instructions

DN50 / 2-inch — 54 mm face-to-face
DN65 / 2½-inch — 54 mm face-to-face
DN80 / 3-inch — 57 mm face-to-face
DN100 / 4-inch — 64 mm face-to-face

Confirm flange compatibility, medium and operating conditions before ordering. Flush new or serviced pipework before commissioning and pressurise progressively. Where water hammer is possible, provide suitable system protection.
