Backing Ring for PVC Stub Flanges

Imperial PVC stub-flange backing ring

This backing ring is used with a compatible imperial PVC stub flange to create a bolted, demountable pipework connection. It supports the flange joint while the PVC stub flange provides the solvent-weld connection to the pipe.

Use and installation

• Use with the correctly matched stub flange, gasket and bolts.
• Select the required size to suit the mating flange arrangement.
• Do not use a backing ring as a stand-alone pipe connection.
