Carson Brooks Standard Valve Box

The Carson Brooks 1419 Standard Valve Box creates an accessible underground chamber around irrigation valves, fittings, decoders and cable joints. It keeps soil away from serviceable equipment while retaining ground-level access for inspection and repair.

• Model: Carson Specification Grade 1419; nominal 356 × 483 mm (14 × 19-inch) format
• Nominal body depth: 305 mm (12-inch)
• Manufacturer drawing: approximately 349 × 483 mm clear top opening, 438 × 584 mm outside at the top and 546 × 695 mm across the flared base
• HDPE body with rigid, flared sidewalls and two pipe-entry positions
• For light-duty pedestrian or greenbelt locations only; not for vehicle-loading areas

Selection and installation

Check the full footprint as well as the clear opening. Allow room to operate and remove valves and to service cable joints without dismantling the manifold. Support the enclosure on stable, compacted material, make only the pipe openings required and finish the cover level with the surrounding surface. It is an access chamber, not a watertight tank or structural manhole.
