Rain Bird ICM valve conversion kit

Rain Bird part 213831 is a preassembled Integrated Control Module and valve adaptor assembly for converting a compatible Rain Bird electric remote-control valve to IC System control.

Kit and compatibility

• Ready-to-install Rain Bird ICM.
• Valve adaptor with the required O-rings and filter.
• For compatible Rain Bird PEB, PESB, BPES and EFB-CP valve families.
• Provides direct two-way communication with a compatible Rain Bird IC System central-control installation.

Installation summary

1. Remove the existing solenoid and solenoid adaptor from the valve bonnet.
2. Remove the yellow protective cap from the ICM valve kit.
3. Thread the preassembled kit into the bonnet by hand.
4. Fit hand-tight only; Rain Bird states not to use a wrench.

Selection note: Confirm the exact valve series and IC System design before ordering. This kit is for Rain Bird IC System valve conversion; it is not an ESP-LXIVM IVM-SOL and is not the rotor-only ICM conversion arrangement.
