Electrofusion End Cap

This Radius electrofusion end cap permanently closes the end of compatible polyethylene pressure pipe. It is used where a PE water or gas main, branch or future extension point needs a fused, end-load-bearing termination.

The pipe end must be cut square, scraped, cleaned, re-rounded where necessary and clamped throughout fusion and cooling. Installation must follow the Radius procedure using calibrated, compatible equipment. Radius publishes water, wastewater and gas approvals for its electrofusion range, but the approval and operating pressure applicable to the selected fitting and service must be confirmed before ordering.
