Hunter EZ-1 single-station decoder

The EZ-1 adds one addressed valve station to a Hunter EZ Decoder System. It is a compact, IP68-rated field decoder with a status LED for installation near the valve.

Compatibility

• HCC or ICC2 controller with an EZ-DM decoder output module.
• HPC or Pro-C controller with a PC-DM decoder output module.
• One station output can activate up to two standard 24 V AC solenoids together, subject to Hunter's system design limits. They are not two independently addressed stations.

Installation

Connect the EZ-1 red and blue leads to the two-wire path and its black leads to the solenoid or relay, following Hunter's installation guide. Protect every splice with a waterproof connector. The controller, output module, solenoid and connectors are separate items.

Selection note: EZ-1 is for the EZ Decoder System; do not choose it as a replacement for a DUAL or ICD decoder without confirming the controller system.
