Hunter ICD-HP handheld decoder programmer

The ICD-HP is a field programmer and diagnostic tool for Hunter ICD and legacy DUAL decoders and Pilot two-way modules. Its induction cup reads and programmes a decoder through its case, so installed waterproof wire connections can remain sealed.

Field functions

• Read, assign and change decoder station addresses, including non-sequential outputs.
• Turn a station on or off at the valve box and check solenoid status and current draw.
• Test compatible Hunter Clik and flow-sensor inputs; use the built-in multimeter functions for field diagnosis.
• Wireless induction range of approximately 25 mm.

Power and supplied kit

Runs on four AA batteries in the field or USB power for bench use. Hunter lists the programmer, induction cup, programming cable, red and blue test leads, USB cable, batteries and padded carrying case in the kit.

Compatibility: Check the decoder family before ordering. Hunter uses the EZ-DT diagnostic tool for EZ-1 decoders.

Tool safety: Protect the ICD-HP from sprinkler spray and other water sources. Its voltmeter is for 50 V or less; do not use it on 120/230 V mains. Use the dedicated ICD-HP programming cable, not a standard coaxial BNC cable.
