Size and compatibility

Select the metric compression size to match the PE pipe outside diameter and the male thread to match the receiving female connection. The six listed combinations are the configurations published by PLASSON for family 03048/03948.

Installation guidance

Cut and prepare the PE pipe correctly, keep the sealing surfaces clean and assemble the compression connection in accordance with PLASSON’s mechanical-fitting instructions. Tighten the nut sufficiently to secure the pipe; PLASSON advises that 40 mm and larger compression fittings require a suitable PLASSON wrench.

Confirm pipe size, thread size, pressure rating and fluid compatibility before installation. Isolate and depressurise the system before fitting, adjustment or maintenance. Do not use damaged pipe, seals or valve components.
