Selection and sealing
Confirm both the pipe gauge and the mating thread standard. Apply a suitable thread sealant to the male thread without overtightening the plastic fitting.
Installation
Depressurise and drain the line. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs and dirt, keep the seal clean and insert the pipe fully before tightening. Pressure-test the completed joint before service.
