The PLASSON 0701N compression coupler joins two matching lengths of Irish normal-gauge pipe. It is available in ½ in, ¾ in and 1 in nominal sizes.

Size selection

Select the variant to match Irish normal-gauge pipe at both ends. Do not substitute an Irish heavy-gauge or metric fitting without confirming the actual pipe outside diameter and the correct PLASSON adaptor family.

Installation

Depressurise and drain the line. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs and contamination, and keep the seal and pipe surface clean. Insert both pipe ends fully, tighten the nuts evenly and pressure-test before use.
