Split an outdoor tap and add automatic watering

This kit combines a premium tap splitter with a Rain Bird garden tap timer. It is intended to keep a hose connection available while providing a separate timed outlet for sprinklers, drip irrigation, containers or other garden watering.

Kit and connection details

• Rain Bird battery-operated garden tap timer
• 3/4 in female threaded union for a compatible garden tap
• Separate hose connection and 3/4 in irrigation outlet
• Manual and scheduled watering functions depend on the supplied timer model

Check the tap thread, exact timer model and downstream connection before ordering. The timer and exposed fittings must be disconnected, drained and stored away from freezing conditions. A pressure regulator and filter may be required for drip irrigation and are not stated as included.
