Imperial PVC fittings
Imperial PVC-U fittings are sized in inches and are intended for compatible imperial PVC pipework. Imperial and metric PVC are not automatically interchangeable; use a suitable transition fitting where systems meet.
This imperial PVC adaptor has a plain solvent-weld connection and a male BSP threaded connection. It is used to connect compatible imperial PVC pipework to a female BSP threaded valve, fitting or component.
Use and installation
- Plain end for solvent-weld connection to compatible imperial PVC.
- Male BSP threaded end for a compatible female BSP connection.
- Use an appropriate thread seal on the threaded joint.
