Imperial PVC fittings
Imperial PVC-U fittings are sized in inches and are intended for compatible imperial PVC pipework. Imperial and metric PVC are not automatically interchangeable; use a suitable transition fitting where systems meet.
This imperial PVC barrel nipple provides a plain solvent-weld connection at one end and a threaded connection at the other. It is used to adapt an imperial PVC pipe run to a compatible threaded fitting or component.
Use and installation
- Plain end for solvent-weld connection to compatible imperial PVC.
- Threaded end for a compatible threaded connection.
- Use a suitable thread seal where required; do not solvent-weld the threaded joint.
