The Rain Bird 552B is a compact block golf rotor for tee boxes, greens surrounds and other smaller managed-turf areas. It uses an external control valve rather than an integral electric valve.
Supplied configuration
- Full-circle 360° or adjustable 30° to 345° part-circle operation
- #52 beige cascade nozzle
- 1-inch ACME female threaded inlet
- Seal-A-Matic check valve with up to 5.2 m elevation holdback
- Self-adjusting stator
Performance and selection
The 552B family covers 10.1 to 16.8 m with flow from 1.54 to 3.18 m³/h, depending on nozzle and pressure. Select against the performance table for the supplied #52 nozzle, and confirm that the external valve, pressure and flow available on site suit the design.
