The ESP-HT2 automates one hose-end sprinkler, drip-irrigation line or soaker hose from an outdoor tap. Its large display and dial provide seven-day scheduling without a separate mains-powered controller.

Programming and operation

• Up to four watering start times per day.
• Watering duration up to six hours per cycle.
• Day-of-week programming.
• Manual Water Now function without deleting the saved schedule.
• Cancel Watering function with rain delay for up to 96 hours.
• High-flow, low-pressure-loss valve.
• Runs on two AA batteries; batteries are not included.

Rain Bird supplies ESP-HT2 versions with either BSP or GHT connections. Check the thread marking on the timer and the tap connection before fitting; do not force unlike threads together.

Cold-weather warning: Disconnect, drain and store the timer away from freezing conditions. Frost damage is not prevented by the weather-resistant housing.
