This listing contains equipment from two generations of Rain Bird's traditionally wired ESP-LX controller family. Select the exact controller or expansion module below. A station module is an add-on, not a complete controller.

Choose the correct item

• RBESPLX-M08: listed 8-station ESP-LXME controller. The legacy LXME family supports 8- and 12-station modules and can expand to 48 stations. Confirm the exact Rain Bird model code and UK power specification for the supplied unit.
• F22115: ESP-LXME2 PRO international 230 V controller. This is the newer 12-station base unit, expandable to 48 stations using 12-station modules only. It has 40 programmes, one flow-sensor input and a second MV2/P output for a compatible booster-pump start circuit or normally closed master valve.
• RBESPLX-MSM08: listed 8-station expansion module for a compatible legacy ESP-LXME controller. Do not select it for the ESP-LXME2 PRO F22115: the newer controller accepts 12-station modules only. Confirm the supplied module's Rain Bird part number before ordering.
• F42220: Rain Bird ESPLXMSM12 12-station expansion module for compatible ESP-LX controllers. Use it only with a suitable controller and available module slot.

Controller generation matters

The older ESP-LXME has four independent programmes, while the ESP-LXME2 PRO F22115 has 40. The PRO flow input and second MV2/P output described above apply to F22115, not automatically to the 8-station controller option. Both use individual station wiring rather than a field-decoder two-wire path. Check the existing controller model and module compatibility before buying an add-on.
