Rain Bird LXIVM-SOL smart valve module

Rain Bird F47100 combines a DC latching solenoid with an intelligent two-wire field device for ESP-LXIVM and ESP-LXIVM Pro systems. It replaces the standard solenoid on a compatible Rain Bird valve, allowing the controller to operate and monitor a station or master valve without a separate field decoder.

Compatibility and function

• For Rain Bird ESP-LXIVM and ESP-LXIVM Pro controllers.
• Compatible with Rain Bird PGA, PEB, PESB, BPES and EFB-CP valve families.
• Suitable for station-valve or master-valve control.
• Two-way communication supports device status and controller diagnostics.
• Self-shutoff behaviour closes the valve if field power is lost.

Supplied

• One LXIVM-SOL module.
• Two Rain Bird WC20 connectors.
• Two wire nuts.
• One white solenoid seal.

Installation note: Fit the module hand-tight with the water pressure off, record its barcode address and use only WC20 splice kits on the two-wire path. When converting an existing system, remove incompatible TBOS solenoids and legacy decoders from the path.

Selection note: F47100 is the standard Rain Bird-valve version. Confirm the exact valve family and existing solenoid arrangement before ordering.
