Rain Bird LNK2 WiFi module

The LNK2 is a plug-in communications module that adds Rain Bird app control, remote monitoring, weather-based scheduling and alerts to a compatible irrigation controller. It is an accessory and cannot operate valves on its own.

Verified controller compatibility

• ESP-ME controllers manufactured after 2 November 2016.
• ESP-ME3.
• ESP-TM2.
• ESP-RZXe.
• ESP-LXME2 and ESP-LXME2 Pro.
• ESP-LXIVM and ESP-LXIVM Pro.

Network requirements and functions

• Requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi network; it is not compatible with a 5 GHz-only network.
• Uses the Rain Bird 2.0 app on a compatible phone or tablet.
• Supports remote schedules, manual watering, seasonal adjustment, forecasted rain delay, alerts and shared access.
• Encrypted wireless communication.

Selection note: Check for the Rain Bird WiFi-ready symbol and compatible accessory port before ordering. Compatibility is model- and manufacture-date-specific.

Compatible stocked controller families include the Rain Bird ESP-ME3, ESP-TM2 and ESP-LXIVM.
