Flexible pressure-compensating dripline for surface use

Rain Bird XFD is designed for on-surface watering of planting beds, hedges and groundcover. Its flexible, kink-resistant brown-over-black tubing follows curved layouts with fewer fittings, while pressure-compensating emitters support even output along the lateral.

Listed options

• 16 mm dripline with emitters at 33 cm spacing
• 1.6 l/h emitters in a 100 m coil
• 2.3 l/h emitters in 50 m and 100 m coils

System guidance

• Operating pressure: 8.5–60 psi (0.58–4.14 bar)
• Construction: dual-layer brown-over-black tubing resistant to UV, chemicals and algae growth
• Connections: use compatible Rain Bird XF insert fittings

Choose emitter flow and coil length from the variant menu. Calculate total zone flow and maximum lateral length, then provide suitable filtration, pressure regulation and a flushing point.
