This replacement assembly is listed by Toro for the electric versions of its 1-inch 252 Series valve and selected 250 and 260 Series valves.

Selection: Use with the specified 24 V AC electric valve assembly. Check the valve series, size and Toro part number 89-0878 before ordering. The 1½-inch and 2-inch 252 valves use a different solenoid part, 118-0248; do not select solely by appearance.

Keep the valve's reusable fixing screws if they are serviceable. Isolate controller power and water pressure before servicing. Use the controller and Toro diagnostic procedure for fault finding.
