Toro DEC-ISP-1 GDC one-station decoder

The DEC-ISP-1 is a one-station field module for a compatible Toro GDC two-wire system. It receives commands through the communication path and controls a suitable DC-latching solenoid.

Installation and compatibility

• One independently controlled station; Toro's GDC instructions allow up to two compatible DC-latching solenoids on a station output.
• Factory-marked module address for recording against the station.
• Integrated surge protection rated at 20 kV for the ISP decoder family; the field path still needs the specified line surge devices and earthing.
• Toro's GDC installation guide gives a maximum decoder-to-solenoid cable distance of 125 m. Follow its conductor polarity, cable and waterproof-joint instructions.

Check the controller before ordering: Toro's TDC brochure specifies CDEC-ISP-1 for TDC, a different part number. Do not assume this DEC-ISP-1 is a direct replacement for a TDC decoder. Toro's Lynx Smart Module design guide confirms that compatible LSM systems can retain 2006–2017 GDC DEC-ISP modules; an LSM-1 is a separate module family.
