Toro P220G 1½-inch BSP 9 V DC Latching Golf Solenoid Valve with EZR-100

Toro P220G 1½-inch DC-latching regulated valve

This P220G globe/angle valve is for golf and commercial irrigation with normal water conditions. It has 1½-inch female BSP connections, a glass-filled nylon body, a DC-latching solenoid and an EZR-100 downstream pressure regulator.

Verified specifications

• Nominal size: 1½-inch (40 mm), female BSP.
• Recommended flow range: 114–379 L/min.
• Valve dimensions: 184 mm high × 92 mm wide.
• Inlet operating pressure: 0.69–15.2 bar.
• EZR-100 outlet setting: 0.34–6.89 bar (5–100 psi).
• Minimum inlet-to-outlet differential: 0.69 bar.
• Activation: DC-latching solenoid operated by a momentary low-voltage pulse; confirm controller compatibility.

Selection and installation

Confirm BSP thread, required flow, available inlet pressure, regulated outlet setting and controller type before ordering. Follow the body flow arrow; Toro permits the valve at any angle. Install below ground in an accessible valve box or vault. Use direct-burial control cable and waterproof splice connectors. Internal manual bleed maintains regulation; the external flush bleed bypasses the regulator.

See the supporting gallery diagrams for Toro’s P220G valve-box layout and EZReg controls. The controls are shared across the listed AC and DC-latching versions; solenoid appearance may differ. Keep flow control fully open for normal operation. Internal manual bleed maintains regulation; external flush bleed bypasses it. Check the outlet setting with a suitable gauge. The complete guide below retains other installation and adjustment detail. Its bar-labelled friction-loss table is inconsistent with its psi table; confirm pressure-loss units and hydraulic data with Toro before using those tables for valve sizing.
