Toro P220G 24 V AC pressure-regulating valves

Toro P220G valves are designed for golf and commercial irrigation with normal water conditions. These variants combine a glass-filled nylon globe/angle valve, female BSP connections and an EZR-100 regulator. Choose 1-inch, 1½-inch or 2-inch to suit the design flow and pipework.

Size-specific performance

• 1-inch (25 mm): 19–151 L/min; 171 mm high × 92 mm wide; inlet pressure 0.69–15.2 bar.
• 1½-inch (40 mm): 114–379 L/min; 184 mm high × 92 mm wide; inlet pressure 0.69–15.2 bar.
• 2-inch (50 mm): 303–681 L/min; 241 mm high × 156 mm wide; inlet pressure 1.39–15.2 bar.

Control and pressure regulation

• Activation: 24 V AC, 50/60 Hz Spike Guard solenoid; 0.12 A inrush and 0.10 A holding.
• EZR-100 outlet setting: 0.34–6.89 bar (5–100 psi), with a minimum 0.69 bar inlet-to-outlet differential.
• Internal manual bleed maintains regulation. External bleed is for flushing and bypasses the regulator.
• A built-in Schrader-type valve allows downstream pressure checking with a suitable gauge.

Selection and installation

Size from the required flow and Toro pressure-loss data, not pipe diameter alone. Follow the flow arrow; Toro permits installation at any angle. Fit below ground in an accessible valve box or vault, use direct-burial control cable and waterproof splice connectors, and leave a 305 mm service loop on long cable runs.

Keep flow control fully open for normal operation. Internal manual bleed maintains regulation; external flush bleed bypasses it. Check the outlet setting with a suitable gauge.
