Rain Bird King Waterproof Wire Connectors
Rain Bird KING waterproof wire connectors
The Rain Bird KING is a waterproof spring-lock connector for copper irrigation wiring below 30 V. Its internal spring grips the conductors firmly, helping prevent movement, sparking, moisture ingress and corrosion.
Connection capacity
- Up to two 2.5 mm² copper wires, or three 1.5 mm² copper wires
- Maximum wire voltage: 30 V
- Copper-to-copper connections only
- Single-use connector: do not reuse after removal
- Supplied as a pack of 10 connectors
How to use
- Isolate the circuit.
- Strip approximately 12.5 mm (1/2 in) of insulation and twist the copper conductors together.
- Push the twisted conductors into a new KING connector and twist the connector until secure.
- Gently pull the wires to check the connection. If any wire slips, cut the joint back and remake it with a new connector.
Selection guidance: Choose KING for stripped copper conductors in low-voltage circuits below 30 V. For a compact self-stripping connector, see the Rain Bird DBM10. For a direct-bury tube-and-wire-nut system covering a wider conductor range, see the Rain Bird WC20 (formerly DBRY20).
